The purpose of this research was to compare the principles of personal data protection in Thailand.In particular, according to two laws, PHONE CASE namely the Personal Data Protection Act B.E.

2562 (2019) and the Government Information Act B.E.by using qualitative research in the form of documentary research.

It is influenced by the European Union Personal Data Protection Act (GDPR), it provides standards for the protection of rights equal to those of other civilized countries.However, the Government Information Act, BE 2540 (1997), contains a specific principle for personal data protection.The focus is on protecting personal data that is in the control of government agencies.

There are still a number of issues with data protection principles.whether it is a matter of data retention, assigning a data control officer, processing and use of personal dataThe standards are still different from the Personal Data Protection Act B.E.

2562, therefore, the researcher proposes to review the principles and amend the provisions OMEGA-PRO HIGH EPA 5:1 to ensure that the two laws have the same standards of personal data protection.
